The idea of a human being by a non human features a video illustrating an artificial recognition engine’s attempt to understand and recreate a human face.
The engine’s understanding is based on a database of sample faces provided by the artist. With each iteration, it generates a new set of images, gradually deepening its comprehension.
However, the engine’s attempts to grasp the complexity of a face are fundamentally flawed, as the faces it had learned from do not belong to real people but are artificially created portraits generated by another machine learning software instead.
